Pascal Racheneur has over twenty years of experience building award-winning digital / mobile / OTT products and growing businesses in the media, fintech, and telecom/mobile industries.
Racheneur was most recently Chief Product Officer at Huddle Tickets where he built and managed the engineering team, product team, and analytics team to drive the growth of GoFan, the leading digital event ticketing platform for high schools.
Before joining Huddle Tickets, Racheneur was the General Manager, Digital Video for Raycom Media, with responsibilities for the development of all OTT (Over The Top) products across all Raycom Media markets. He also oversaw product and business development for The Southern Weekend, a video-centric lifestyle brand deployed regionally and locally in a large number of Raycom television markets.
Prior to joining Raycom Media, Racheneur was Vice President, Digital Media at AccuWeather, a leading global weather media company. He had responsibilities for all digital products in U.S. and international markets, including web, mobile, Connected TV, and automotive. While building a first-class digital media team, Racheneur helped grow AccuWeather into the number one mobile weather site in the U.S. and the number one mobile weather brand in the EU5. Under Racheneur’s management, the AccuWeather mobile applications’ audience grew substantially and the iPhone application was voted ‘best iPhone app’ at the 2012 Mobie Awards. He also played a key role in managing strategic relationships with global OEMs.
Before Accuweather, Racheneur spent 10 years at The Weather Channel where he last was responsible for the interactive business of The Weather Channel in international markets. During his tenure at The Weather Channel, Racheneur built the mobile product team and helped The Weather Channel grow into a leader in the mobile industry. Racheneur also played a key role in the implementation of global weather products for top portal sites.
Earlier in his career, Racheneur held several management positions in the wireless industry, including product manager for CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access), paging, and SMS services for GTE Wireless (now Verizon Wireless).
Racheneur received a master’s degree in economics and business administration as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics and social sciences from the University of Namur, in Belgium. He also attended the University of Leuven in Belgium and the University of Barcelona in Spain. Racheneur is fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and resides in Atlanta with his wife and twin boys.
