Paul Curran named Cox Media Senior Vice President & General Manager 

ATLANTA, Feb. 1, 2023 – Cox Media has appointed Paul Curran as Senior Vice President and General Manager, who will officially join the organization on February 27.  

With nearly 30 years in the media industry, Paul joins Cox Media from Apollo’s Cox Media Group where he led CMG’s television division. Prior to the Apollo acquisition, Paul was a 24-year employee of Cox and is looking forward to return to the company. A graduate of Georgetown University, Paul resides in the Atlanta area with his wife and three children.  

As SVP and GM, Paul will lead the Cox Media team and all lines of business to continued successful financial performance, orchestrate CMI’s transformation toward diversifying Cox Media’s business, and prepare the organization for future growth. 

Cox Media is transforming to drive growth amidst an evolving ad ecosystem. Paul is a media veteran with a successful track record of leading organizations through ad industry change.
